Recently, the International Finance Forum (IFF) held its 20th annual global conference with the theme "New Capital, New Value, New World: Revitalization and Cooperation in the Fragmented Global Economy." During the event, the fourth IFF Global Green Finance Awards were announced, and Baidu was honored with the "Annual Award" for its proactive actions and leadership in promoting energy conservation, carbon reduction, environmental protection, and green social development through green bonds.
In 2021, Baidu announced its goal to achieve carbon neutrality at the group level by 2030. In the same year, it established a Sustainable Finance Working Group and released the Baidu Sustainable Finance Framework to support its vision of green and sustainable development along with its business strategy. Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Baidus sustainable development bonds have made continuous contributions to ten sustainable topics, such as affordable clean energy, sustainable cities and communities, and good health and well-being.
