platform supplier management system that covers the entire lifecycle of procurement, allowing for comprehensive online management of suppliers. This includes basic information inquiries, categorization, performance assessment, etc., enabling real-time understanding of supplier situations and continuously enhancing the transparency of supplier management.
Baidu implements the concepts of ESG within the supply chain management, formulating the Baidu Sustainable Development Principles5 for Suppliers. By establishing close communication and cooperation with suppliers, Baidu sets assessment requirements for suppliers in multiple dimensions including labor rights, business ethics, health and safety, and environmental protection, aiming to achieve high-standard ESG management practices.
