Baidu Content Security Center removed a total of 15.58 billion pieces of harmful information throughout the quarter, including 15.56 billion pieces of harmful information relating to pornography and gambling by using AI technology, and 21.884 million pieces of harmful information concerning pornography and copyright infringement through manual inspections.

The above-mentioned data shows that the information concerning pornography accounts for the largest share of harmful information. Baidu Content Security Center continued its special action on pornographic information governance, d 67,225 sets of pornographic and harmful keywords and 13,347 sets of subsidiary words, blocked 1,112,951 accounts, suspended 3,032 Tieba forums, and terminated more than 7.26 billion harmful links throughout the quarter. Moreover, the Baidu Netizen Rights Protection Plan refunded and compensated 20,401 complaints and a total of 2.19 million yuan of losses were recovered for netizens.

To be specific, in Q4 2022, Baidu Search removed more than 1.51 billion pieces of harmful information; Baidu Tiebe intercepted over 190 million pieces of harmful information; Baidu Netdisk removed over 53.65 million pornographic and illegal documents; Baijiahao d 310,000 pieces of harmful information mainly concerning misinformation and vulgar pornography.

The crackdown and governance on harmful information on the Internet require the concerted efforts of all sectors of the society.
